It is a show of drawings which focus on the human as their main motif, while every ten minutes Eduardas Mieželaitis’ 1961 heroic poem Human, recited without consonants, is heard. The style of the drawings is influenced by the Soviet realist tradition, yet the human is portrayed here as an ordinary dweller of this world who sometimes happens to be majestic and sometimes not. The poetry of Eduardas Mieželaitis, laureate of the Soviet Union’s most prestigious Lenin award, is read with erased consonants, thus preserving its melodics but eliminating the content.
