About Us

First experimental graphic art studio – workshop had been established as early as in 1958, in Grybo str. 32. In this studio many famous Lithuanian classics of graphic art have materialized their creative ideas, including such artists as V. Jurkūnas, A. Kučas, T. Kulakauskas, S. Kisarauskienė, V. Valius, R. Tarabilda, R. Miknevičius, A. Skirutytė and others. At that time it was the only workshop in Lithuania, where artists could make prints of lithography with the assistance of masters of graphic art. Eventually, the basis of the first experimental graphic art studio – workshop developed. The section of graphic artists of Lithuanian Artists’ Association actively initiated the establishment of modern, multifunctional Graphic Art Centre. Under the initiative of the leaders of Lithuanian Artists Association of Graphic Art Section, namely by G. Šlektavičius, N. Šaltenytė, R. Vėliuvienė, K. Grigaliūnas, the building situated in Latako str. 3 was adjusted and named Vilnius Graphic Art Centre.

Today the centre incorporates graphic art printing-house, where professional artists have the possibility to create and produce pieces of graphic art by traditional means of graphics. The centre possesses a huge fond of graphic art pieces. In the gallery of Vilnius.

Graphic Art Centre „Kairė – dešinė“ various exhibitions take place annually, different local and international projects are organized, the art of foreign artists presented, mastery seminars held, exhibition catalogues produced, discussion evenings organized as well as various art events.

Sale of pieces of Graphic Art
For purchase we offer you original graphic art sheets of high art level. In the gallery’s „Kairė – dešinė“ salon of graphic art, which is located on the 1st floor of the building, any customer of different taste can find a wide range of graphic techniques, formats, authors and a wide spectrum of graphic stylistics. The people working in the gallery will provide you with professional consultations or give advice on certain questions.

Premises Rental
We invite various organizations to organize their presentations, various events, sessions and evenings in the gallery of Vilnius Graphic Art Centre „Kairė – dešinė“. Booking of premises of the gallery must be made not less than 30 days before the planned event.

Rental of Pieces of Art/Art expositions
For different period of time we offer expositions of professional art for rent.
