The publication presents the first retrospective drawings collection by the classic Lithuanian artist Povilas Ričardas Vaitiekūnas (b. 1940), encompassing a wide range of works from the 1960s to this day: including works of different character, genres, and storylines, different techniques and materials.

The publication consists of two parts: the main part and the catalogue part. The main part is divided into six thematic chapters: Family, Dialogues, Through the Window, Places, Mardasavas, and Time is a Scary Thing. All these chapters taken as a whole reflect the fact that different time periods, genres, and themes in Vaitiekūnas’ drawings are closely intertwined and vividly complement each other.

The catalogue includes drawings gathered from the artist’s personal archive, the Graphic Department of the Vilnius University Library, the collection of M. K. Čiurlionis National Museum of Art, and private collections.
