Nijolė Šaltenytė

I do not intend to prove, teach or change anything. I am an observer. I am interested in the relation between nature and woman; I care about paradoxes of life. I am a teller, but I do not like verbosity. There is not need to try to tell much at once. For me a small needle works on a sock tells a lot, and it is possible to see the entire drama. I find abstractions beautiful, but I do not create them myself. I sometimes laugh from myself considering that I can hardly do an imprint without a birdie, bee or little fly.
