Lida Dubauskienė

The artwork of Lida Dubauskienė – without a plot. This forms a specific principle of “reading” and analyzing the artworks, which is independent from traditionally (still)popular contexts in art (cultural, political, social, etc.). Lida does not question, analyze, actualize, and moralize. Neither gives she a theme. In her works you could find subtle, masterly accomplished views, which do not stick moral, or “search for style” or other similar, irrelevant things for this artist’s works. The artworks of Dubauskienė balance on the verge of private/public, direct/chamber like, however this does not disturb for intensive communication of works and the viewers.
